Two ends of the same Canal
Sandwich sits at the Cape Cod Bay end of the Cape Cod Canal. We’re at the other end, on Main Street in Buzzards Bay. For most of Sandwich that’s one bridge and one stretch of Scenic Highway along the water, about 13 minutes from the village when traffic is light.
Diamond Mind has been on Main Street since 2009, and Tim Creed has been tattooing since 1995. It’s a small custom shop with four artists. Come with an idea, a reference, or an old tattoo that needs covering, and we’ll work it out together.
We’re open 10 AM to 6 PM every day, weekends included. If summer bridge traffic is backing up on your way over, give the shop a call at (508) 743-8462.

Getting here
Driving from Sandwich
About 13 minutes and 8.6 miles from Sandwich village. About 19 minutes and 13.3 miles from Forestdale.
- Take Route 6A west toward Sagamore, then bear left onto Cranberry Highway to the Route 6 on-ramp.
- Get on Route 6 West and cross the Sagamore Bridge.
- Right after the bridge, take the Route 6 West exit toward Buzzards Bay.
- Follow Scenic Highway along the Canal for about 3.6 miles to the traffic circle.
- Take the Buzzards Bay Bypass, then turn onto Main St at the Buzzards Bay rotary. Look for number 53.
From Forestdale or South Sandwich, take Route 130 north to Route 6 West, then follow the same steps from the Sagamore Bridge.
Times are from Google Maps with light traffic on a Saturday evening in October. Summer weekends and bridge work can add a lot more. Check live traffic before you leave. Parking: use the lot across the street from the shop.

How far is Diamond Mind Tattoo from Sandwich?
From Sandwich village it’s about 13 minutes and 8.6 miles to 53 Main St with light traffic. From Forestdale it’s about 19 minutes and 13.3 miles by way of Route 130. Summer bridge traffic can add a lot more time, so check live traffic before you leave.
Which bridge do I take from Sandwich?
The Sagamore Bridge. After you cross, take the Route 6 West exit toward Buzzards Bay and follow Scenic Highway along the Canal to the Buzzards Bay Bypass and Main St. You don’t need to go through the Bourne Rotary.
Where do I park?
Park in the lot across the street from the shop. Street parking on Main St is usually fine outside of summer. Please don’t use the two spots in front of the second-hand store next door.
Do you take walk-ins?
We do take walk-ins, depending on the day. Since you’re coming over the bridge, call first to check availability between 10 AM and 6 PM: (508) 743-8462. Our shop minimum is $100, which covers 30 minutes of tattooing.
What styles do you do?
Custom, fine line, American Traditional, Japanese Traditional, and cover-ups. Aline Cimorelli specializes in fine line and Chris Soucie in American Traditional. Tim Creed, the owner, has done custom work since 1995.
I’m turning 18. Do you do a free first tattoo?
Yes. We offer a free first tattoo in the first month after your 18th birthday, with Tim or Brendon. Bring a valid photo ID. There’s a $25 deposit to hold the time, and we refund it when the tattoo is done. Full details are on our free 18th birthday tattoo page.
Do you do piercing?
No, we only do tattoos.
